When you start learning the Trompowsky, make sure you remember the trap 2...c6 3.e3 Qa5 winning the g5-bishop!

Quote:
chess publishing don't have many games about Trom

There are a lot of them in the d-pawn section and there is an e-book as well. The quality of analyses of GM Prie is excellent: he points out the critical variations, explains move orders and connections between the variations.  You dont need more games - you only need the good ones and you find them there - take a study  Wink

Hello,
I here would like to ask if there is any web sides that have the games of Trom.I would like to know it because chess publishing don't have many games about Trom.Thank you for all your help. Smiley

If you are looking for good books on the Trompowsky, I can recommend Wells's book "Winning with the Trompowsky", published in 2001. I do not own the book, but I recall Glenn Flear giving it a positive review in a New In Chess Yearbook. If you are looking for a more recent work, then Everyman Chess are releasing the book "Starting Out: The Trompowsky" by Richard Palliser in a few months. Those two books should provide you with a more than sufficient grounding to start playing the variation in tournament games.

Hope this helps!
