has anyone seen the czech benoni dvd by Martin and what is your opinion on it?

It thought it was quite good as these DVDs go. Martin discusses (primarily by way of example games) how to play the type of position one gets from the opening. He also goes a bit into how to play against different white systems - he certainly did identify what are white's most dangerous tries and has recommendations against them that make a lot of sense. Of course - as on most of these DVDs - the actual content is less than in a good book and I am not a specialist on the Czech Benoni so I do not know whether everything he says is perfectly correct, but I have been looking at the lines that interested me from a white perspective and he seems to cover them well. Maybe he's sometimes a bit overoptimistic about black's chances and he just loves to tell you how horrible the white player in the demonstration game must have felt when facing the position in question, but on a whole I thought it would make for a very good introduction to the opening if one watched all the lessons on the DVD. I suppose anyone who has been playing the czech benoni for years might be familiar with most of what's on the DVD and might only be interested in one or two of the ideas against certain lines, when of course one has to wonder whether it would be worthwhile to get a whole dvd just for that reason.
