After e5 Ne8 better for white is something like Bf4+Qd2+0-0-0 and not the e6 sak. This ios only good after Nfd7. Better for Black is to play e6! avoiding the e6 sak!

This system is fine for white, but if Black is going to play a plan with Nbd7, they'd be better off to have played c6 to meet e5 with Nd5.
Black has to play accurately against the sort of attack you got going.

I prefer a Nc6 plan against this set up, especially since Dzindzi doesn't seem to cover it, and also it is what Nigel Davies has played against this line as Black.

Can't help plugging it, but this line is covered well in "the Pirc in Black and White".

Those who want to go by my perverse footsteps play such pawn structure with fuzzy atypical still strategic orientations

I've played Be3 lines against the Pirc and Modern with reasonable success for several years. I decided to try Be3 with h3, based on the lines given by Nigel Davies in the "Dynamic Reti". Although h3 seems slow, I believe the lines originate from Dzindzashvili and White can get a very strong kingside attack. I played it in a recent weekend tournament and my opponent played the natural Nbd7. I carried on with the attacking idea I half remembered, similar to some Alekhine lines. When I checked the line afterwards, Nbd7 wasn't mentioned by Davies and my immediate 7.e5 isn't in the ChessBase online database. Any thoughts on whether this is a good idea in this line ? I was very happy with it !
