Half joking, half not.

Don't many consider the KID itself to be somewhat "dangerous?"

Indeed, the KID gives Black active play in all lines and often an attack on the king (keep in mind that White also gets active play!). However, the idea of the Dangerous Weapons series in relation to imbalanced openings is to "take these imbalances and stretch them even further".

However, I have found that players with experience in the King's Indian from Black's side usually don't find the KID dangerous when facing it as White, since obviously White will know what Black is trying to achieve and his plans, which will make it easier for White to counter them.

I know I've made some very poor decisions recently, but I can give you my complete assurance that my work will be back to normal. I've still got the greatest enthusiasm and confidence in the mission.

Does anyone know if this book is being published in the next year? I haven't seen any notice of it on the Everyman Chess website, but given the popularity of the King's Indian at all levels of play, in my opinion it would be quite a popular product.

Given that the King's Indian is one of Black's most active and aggressive defences to 1.d4, I don't think it would be overly difficult to find variations that fit the "Dangerous Weapon" category.

For example: 9.Bg5!? in the KID absolute main line (7...Nc6 8.d5 Ne7), and 3.Nf3 d6 4.Nf3 Bf5!?.
