Thanks!  I'll look out for it.  I must confess that I was a little cool on this series for correspondence purposes, but am finding lots of great material that rewards careful preparation and analysis...

It's written from the white perspective, although new ideas for Black also get covered.

Interesting!  Is the coverage designed as a dangerous weapon for White or Black?

This Sosonko-Kramnik Gambit, as I quite like to refer to it as, is indeed pretty fascinating and dangerous. There's some coverage in the forthcoming 'Dangerous Weapons: The Benoni and Benko'! Smiley That should be published in about a month's time.

Someone made reference to this game in another Nimzo thread as cooling Black's willingness to run down this road.  I recently found myself on the White side of this line in a correspondence game when Black seemed to improve of Alekseev's play with 8...f5

1.d4 Nf6 2.c4 e6 3.g3 c5 4.d5 exd5 5.cxd5 b5 6.e4 Nxe4 7.Qe2 Qe7 8.Bg2 f5

My instinct is that 9.d6 isn't right and ventures a bit too far, but I wonder what Kramnik had in mind against 8...f5.
