Last Dragon Update: March 2008...

Surely Chris Ward could compensate for the late updates with a mega-update comprising of three months worth of surveys when he has more time? It would benefit everyone that way - Chris keeps his job as a co-author of ChessPublishing Smiley, the ChessPublishing team keep a good author Smiley and all the subscribers benefit from the excellent annotations! Without meaning to go all American, suggest a 3 strikes and out policy.

3 lates, cheers, bye. And get someone else. You have a business to run.

I asked him about it at the 4NCL, he claims that John Emms won't let him do the updates until he finished some book or other. Seemed a rather lame excuse to me, after all he can do his update in just one day (or maybe less?!) and then the book will only be one day late rather than the update being several months late! Sorry, considering the section, I imagined that the '?' would be self-explanatory.

Late posting from Ward esq. (again)

On the way perchance? Or on the backburner due to dance floor commitments? Fair enough if so, I guess.

I play 6.Be3. If you play 6...Bg7, I will reply with 7.f3.

What do you think about the 6.Bg5 variation, more actively developing the bishop? Afaik, Vitolinsh played this variation a lot as White.

Those who want to go by my perverse footsteps play such pawn structure with fuzzy atypical still strategic orientations

Clowns to the left of me, jokers to the right, stuck in the middlegame with you
