Can we have this option reinstated, please?

It should be in your PM options in the User CP. Wink

Hi Tony,

The delphi message boards have an "Ignore" option which allows you to ignore specific users. When you elect to ignore a member, you no longer see his posts. You can choose to "un-ignore" at a later date if you wish. Can that option be available here?

Antillian, you wouldn't have someone already in mind to ignore by any chance, would you?  Grin

Personally, I wouldn't be against the option, but I find that it is also just as easy to ignore a poster without having to click a button.

Three years later...I still find it's easy to ignore someone without check-marking a little box.

Errm, why can't we just ignore people the old-fashioned way, by ignoring them!

Ha!  Well said! Smiley

Or at least an "hide this thread" option...

Can we have this option reinstated, please?

I believe there is a mod I can add to have an ignore feature, but i think I will wait until the new YaBB version comes out to see what they've added.

Ignore option would be helpful.
Alternatively, admin with the help of mods could do better than currently to keep unpleasantness and vindictiveness in check.

No need for that just:
