	I suspect you could be recalling a passage from MCO-11: "The Pirc is not a fighting defense. It is fluid and slippery, with the object of closing the game and slowly equalizing ...". Quaint.

I think that for the latter, it's very hard to beat 1...c5 in its more dynamic forms, of which the Classical is one. Still if I played the Classical I would most of all worry about the Richter-Rauzer.

	1. Classical Sicilian. You don't see the Pirc too much anymore in GM-games, mainly because of the Austrian Attack. 2. I have no idea.
