I found only 3 games with Nge7 in Mega2009. I checked a little bid the suggested 8.Ndb5, but frankly speaking I do not see any advantage for White after 8.Ndb5 Nf5 9.Bd3 a6 10.Bf5 ab5 11.cb5 ef5 12.bc6 dc6 where Black has pair of bishops for his damage in the pawn structure.
More temting is 9.Bf4! Bb4 (9...g5 10.Bd2 a6 11.Nd6 Nd6 12.ed6 Bd6 13.Bg5 Qg5 14.Qd6 +/-) 10.Bd3 a6 11.Nd6 Nd6 12.ed6 Qf6 13.Qd2 Bc3 15.bc3 e5 16.Be3 Qxd6 17.0-0 and White has excellent compensation for the pawn in view of the undeveloped Black pieces.

Ndb5 after Nge7 is very unpleasant for black, and if you are feeling slightly less ambitious, play f4 first.

Hi everyone. I'm interested in a line in the Flohr-Mikenas 3...c5 variation after (1. c4 Nf6 2. Nc3 e6 3. e4) 3...c5 4. e5 Ng8 5. Nf3 Nc6 6. d4 cxd4 7. Nxd4 Nge7!? (the main move being 7... Nxe5). I really have no clue what to play against this, any ideas?
