I rather like the idea of of having each users posts numbered individually.  Maybe someday the software developers will do this.

Ok, then.

I know I've made some very poor decisions recently, but I can give you my complete assurance that my work will be back to normal. I've still got the greatest enthusiasm and confidence in the mission.

CAVEAT:  This topic is about as banal as could be, so do not read further if little, mostly unimportant things are not your cup o'tea.

Why do all user post counts all show the current total post number of that user?

Instead, would it not be more interesting if each post showed its own number as it was when posted?  This way, I could still revel in the self absorbed glory of post 600 (for example), and always know that post 600 was what it was, WHERE it was and could be found, and so forth.  drkodos' post #69 would forever remain #69, as it were.

And what is the point of keeping track anyway? Is there going to be a prize?  And if so, can I trade it back in for cash?   Wink

I promise to not ever turn my attention to, or mention, the little stars.
