Of course it's playable either 15..qd8 or 15.. qe7 although it is thought to give white a slight edge but it's not that big an advantage.

[Black "Ivan Cheparinov"]

1. e4 c5 2. Nf3 d6 3. d4 cxd4 4. Nxd4 Nf6 5. Nc3 a6 6. Bg5 e6
7. f4 Be7 8. Qf3 Qc7 9. O-O-O Nbd7 10. g4 b5 11. Bxf6 Nxf6
12. g5 Nd7 13. f5 Bxg5+ 14. Kb1 O-O 15. fxe6 Nb6 16. Nd5 Nxd5
17. exd5 fxe6 18. Qg4 e5 19. Qxg5 exd4 20. Bd3 g6 21. h4 Bf5
22. h5 Bxd3 23. cxd3 Rf2 24. Rc1 Qf7 25. Rcg1 Qf5 26. Qxf5
Rxf5 27. hxg6 h5 28. Re1 Rxd5 29. Re7 Rf8 30. Rh7 Rf6
31. R1xh5 Rxh5 32. Rxh5 Rxg6 33. Rd5 Kf7 34. Rxd4 1/2-1/2

I think this is the latest idea from black

According to Ftacnik ( I've found the game in the Megadatabase 2008)
"Black seems to face a real problem in this particular line. White is better developed so the immediate battle should end favuorably for him."

25. Rcg1 is "?". Better according to Ftacnik is 25. hxg6! Qxg6  26. Qh4 Rg2  27. Qxd4

I would think he means 6. Bg5 e6 7. f4 Be7 8. Qf3 Qc7 9. 0-0-0 Nbd7 10. g4 b5 11. Bxf6 Nxf6 12. g5 Nd7 13. f5.

Yes, of course.

Sorry

My impression is that 13...Bxg5+ has long been considered quite decent -- the sort of major line in which opinions vary among +=/=/unclear.

It helps to put in the moves as I have no idea which line you mean.

If nothing else works, a total pig-headed unwillingness to look facts in the face will see us through.

13.., Bxg5+ is still a reliable move? The PDF e-book quotes the game Rudolf-Nayer 1999... 10 years ago!

I'd play this line in a week end tournamento next week and I don't like to play this line with a prayer as my only defence against a recent  ( and for me unknow) new improvement.

There are some specialists in this line that can help me in updating teh variation?
