i've taken up the saemisch with white v. the KID and recently i've gotten (quite a few times)

1.d4 Nf6 2.c4 g6 3.f3 Bg7 4.e4 d6 5.Nc3 O-O 6.Be3 Nbd7

as far as theory books go all i have is MCO and a chessgames.com membership Smiley  any interesting ideas out there on how to proceed?  any sharp, hot lines?

You should play Nh3 against this variation.
Maybe have a look at this: http://www.everymanchess.com/chess/books/The_Sämisch_King's_Indian_Uncovere...
Ward's book "The controversial Saemisch" could also be usefull.

Yusupov once said that “The problem with the Dutch Defence is that later in many positions the best move would be ...f5-f7” but he is surely wrong.

I play this from the black side. The opening book of the KID section is quite good. Definitely more info than in the KID books of Gobulev and Gallagher (not the Saemisch book), who advocate 6...Nc6/c5.

After 6...Nbd7 with 7...c5 to follow black is ok after the standard 7.Nge2, which might be the main reason why white players started to play 7.Nh3. Still I don´t see major trouble for black in the 7.Nh3 lines and doubt that it is better than an 7.Nge2 approach.

If you try, you may lose. If you don´t try, you have lost.

Start with Belyvasky v Nunn Wijk aan Zee- for a brilliancy 1985 approx , have a look at Karpov- Nunn for a model white game but it's believed that 7 nh3 systems are best- seirawan has played this  and that it's better for white.
