When I looked at your original post I also thought of 13.e4 Nbd7 14.d5, but by the time I got around to posting, MNb had already pointed this out.  Personally I would be very reluctant to give White such a free hand in the center, particularly while I was so poorly developed.  Try your idea in some online games and see how it works out.  I'll be a little surprised if Black can't be punished for his neglect of the center.

As 13...Bc5 loses a piece (14.dxc5) I assume you mean 13.e4 Nbd7 14.d5 Bc5. After 15.dxe6 fxe6 16.b3 c3 17.Ng5 e5 18.Ne6 White gets the clear upper hand: Kf7 19.Nxc5 Nxc5 20.b4 Qxb4 21.Ba3 wins a piece.
That's why 14...Be7 should be played - 15.dxe6 fxe6 16.b3 can be answered with cxb3 17.Bxb3 Nc5.

of course I mean 14...Bc5 -sorry. But as I see it is wrong move, because of your continuation. I have to assume, that it isn't as good as I thought first for Black. The only reasonable continuation is 14...Be7 Sad

Black has not castled yet. Have you looked at 13.e4 Nbd7 14.d5!? One line is 14...Be7 15.dxe6 fxe6 16.Ng5 e5 17.Ne6 and despite Fritz I prefer White. Also after 13...Be7 White may try 14.d5.

Yes it's true, Black hasn't castled yet, but is it as significant?? Black can play Kf7 and in my view it is not an end of the world... I don't see anything for White after your continuation. For example 17...g6 18. Nc3 Kf7 19. Ng5 Kg7 etc

But in my opinion the 13... Bc5 is better

or 14...Be7 15. dxe6 dxe6 16. Rd1 0-0 17. Nd4 e5 18. Nf5 Bc5 and I like Black position

I've an idea in QGA for Black, is this good?

Hi everyone!
I've focused on QGA recently, and I maybe found some interesting idea.
The style of playing it is:
1.d4 d5 2.c4 dxc4 3.Nf3 Nf6 4.e3 e6 5.Bxc4 c5 6.0-0 a6 7.Bb3 b5 8.a4 Bb7(this is considered dangerous for Black because of 9.axb5 axb5 10.Rxa8 Bxa8 11. Qe2... etc. but I have one idea in mind it is...) 9.axb5 axb5 10.Rxa8 Bxa8 11. Qe2 c4!? 12. Bc2 Qa5!? (this is a point of 9...Bb7 and 11...c4. If white wants to play 12.b3 than I respond by 12...c3! and later b4 restricting completely White queenside.)
This is the key position:

so only reasonable move for White is 13. e4 but now I simply complete my development by 13...Nbd7 .
I want to point out that I have always in mind an idea to play b4 at some moment as well. In my opinion this variations with key moves like 11...c4 and 12...Qa5 is very fine for Black.
what are your opinions??
