This invention from Efim Bogoljubow was quite popular around 1980. Balashov-Miles, Bugojno 1978, was then a famous game. I also notice that Kramnik has played it three times. Last time I looked at it White was in fine shape. Of course his/her advantage is disputable, but that's true for every gambit.
Besides 10.Be2 there is also 10.g3. And Bogo's original 7.Ng5 might be ripe for a revival as well, if White answers 7...e6 with 8.Qh5.

Btw there are actually quite a few gambits after 1.d4 d5 for White. Everytime Black plays ...dxc4 White can allow ...b7-b5 by playing e2-e4. Then there is the Marshall Gambit in the Noteboom plus one in the Tarrasch (but I don't trust that one).

Well, it's called Queen's Gambit after all. 
Maybe the position after
1. d4 d5 2. c4 dxc4 3. Nf3 Nf6 4. Nc3 a6 5. e4 b5 6. e5 Nd5 7. a4
isn't much theoretically, but to my eye it looks dangerous for black.
Fritz' main line 7...e6 8. axb5 Nb6 looks just good for white to me (I'm probably wrong) and the alternatives 7...Nxc3 8. bxc3 Qd5 9. g3 Bb7 Bg2 and 7...Bb7 e6 also seem to give white decent practical chances.

It might seem paradoxical, but I think many QGA players don't actually want to play against a gambit but rather against the more positional lines after 4. e3 e6 5. Bxc4 c5 etc.

When going through my white repertoire I came across this possibility:
1. d4 d5 2. c4 dxc4 3. Nf3 Nf6 4. Nc3

The line can easily transpose to something else (after 4...c6, 4...Nc6 or 4...e6) and the independent lines with 4...c5 or 4...a6 also look pretty decent to me.
Anyone has some experience with this move or thoughts they'd like to share?
