I tried the bogo once, it is not my thing,
I have gotten hold of khalifman's repertoire for black acc. to karpov,
I think I will try this repertoire against d4 now.
It looks quite good to me so far.

Hi,

I would suggest
the Bogo-Indian vs. 3.Nf3 and
the Benoni vs. 3.g3

Yet another Bb4 option after 1.d4 Nf6 2.c4 e6 3.Nf3 is the Manhattan, when Black also plays ...Nbd7. Black has had good results last 10 years or so. Of course the transposition 3.Nc3 Bb4 4.Nf3 d5 5.Bg5 Nbd7 is nice.

The book had the effect good books usually have: it made the stupids more stupid, the intelligent more intelligent and the other thousands of readers remained unchanged.

Hi there,
for what it is worth you can play the Ragozin/vienna vs Nf3.  James Rizzatano wrote a good book on the Queens Gambit declined.  Both the Ragozin and vienna are covered there.  As for the Catalan I think your system is good.  Also I think Larry Kaufman wrote a book called the Advantage in Black and white and in there is a good line that if I remmeber correctly is good vs the Catalan.
cheers,

new repertoire based on the nimzo

I don't trust the benoni anymore,
I am thinking of doing a new repertoire with the nimzo,
but I don't like the QID,
so I think about playing d5 after nf3 and after nc3 Bb4 in nimzo style,
the only question that remains is the catalan!?
What do you think is good, I think an early dxc is good with a6 b5 or Nc6,
what do you think is combatif but is not too hard to play!?
