After 1.e4 e6 2.d4 d5 3.Nc3 Nc6 4.Nf3 Nf6 5.Bd3 Bb4 6.O-O Bxc3 7.exd5 Nxd4 8.dxe6 Nxf3 9.Qxf3 Be5 10.exf7 Kxf7 11.Bc4 Kf8 I think 12.Re1!? might also work! for example (a) 12...Qd6 13.Bg5 Qc5 (13...Bxh2 14.Kh1 Bg4 15.Qxf6!) 14.b4! Qxc4 15.Rxe5 (b) 12...Qd4 13.b3! Qd6 14.Bb2 Bxb2 15.Rad1 Bd4 16.c3 (c) 12...Bd6 13.Be3 transposes to your analysis, but 13.Bf4!? also looks strong. This all looks excellent for white. What do you think?

	Interesting - so 6.0-0 is a Rybka suggestion - this is probably how GM Nijboer found it also!

	Karpov-Agdestein was cited in ECO as slightly better for White. There's also 6. e5 and then Bg5, as a young Austrian grandmaster played recently.

	6.0-0! certainly looks strong. Watson recommends 5.. Nb4. Interestingly, Agdestein even beat Karpov with black in that variation. 	Thanks again to Kevin for one more interesting Hecht Reefschlager update. However, one of his comments made me curious.... "After 1.e4 e6 2.d4 d5 3.Nc3 Nc6 4.Nf3 Nf6 5.Bd3 Bb4, White normally plays 6.e5. In the game Nijboer-Reinderman, White played the outrageous 6.0-0!: The idea of this move is shown after 6...Bxc3 7.exd5 and no matter how Black chooses to win a pawn, White will nick the 2 bishops plus a huge initiative to boot. I'm not sure if this idea will refute the entire variation for good but it certainly looks like a very good try. At least, all subscribers are aware of it now." And following at the end of the game "I seriously think this new idea can be a serious blow to the Hecht-Reefschlager and unless I find something convincing, I guess it would be a while before I play the Hecht again. For now, good news for White exponents!" However, after 6.Bd3 black doesn't need to play 6...Bb4. I think black can play 6...Nb4 winning the Bishop pair and having a decnet game. Right?...or I am missing something.
