As said it really very much depends on which level you are thinking chess aka your rating.

i like interaction with a dvd.  Bologan is probaly better than Martin's dvd.  i don't have much experience with databases. 

i use chess publishing as well.   Wink

? - You can do what you want with your money, but why do you need two DVDs to the same opening, especially, when you already have the better one. Imho Martin is for beginners and preintermediate players, so they are as a matter of principle quite superficial.
If you really wanna work with DVDs, then the best cost/performance ratio is the chessbase megabase - all lines are covered, more than sixty thousand games are well commentated, at least deep enough for 2200 elo players.
So all in all I see no point in buying these opening DVDs in general.
  

The older, the better - over 2200 and still rising.

Just wondering how different it is from his first dvd and is it worth getting; i will probably get it anyway, along with Bologan's dvd.
