I have given a lot of thought whether I should employ ...Qc7 as an elastic approach to Black's 6th move, e.g.: 5. ... a6 6. Be3 Qc7 (stops Bc4 and thus prepares ...e5 / now Bg5 is desirable for White but he/she would have to 'spend' an extra move with the same Bishop) - haven't reached a conclusion yet since especially against Bg5-systems I prefer to leave the option open for ...Qa5 or ...Rc8 (thus a quick ...Qc7 may become undesirable for me).

But ...Qc7 on the 5th move? Without the protection of ...a6? Never saw or thought about that to be honest! If you could post the game it may prove to be interesting..
