Thanks for the game, Kyle. The Kings Indian bishop makes a pitiful impression in such lines. You almost feel for it...

Well, I'm no theory shark either. But I do see similar structures via my pet Bd3 KID from time to time. In such positions, I would place the QB on e3...what is it going to do on b2?
So h3, Be3, and I think White's game proceeds quite naturally.

hi community,

last sunday I played a game as white against King`s Indian and I have still bigs probs in finding a good plan for me after the following moves:

1.d4 Nf6 2.c4 d6 3.Nc3 e5 4.Nf3 Nbd7 5.e4 g6 6.Be2 Bg7 7.0–0 0–0 8.Re1 c6 9.Bf1 Re8 10.d5 cxd5 11.cxd5 a6

Okay, I´m no theoryshark, so I played the calm 8.Re1 and 9.Bf1 and after some some thoughts I played 10.d5, because after let´s say 10.Rb1 Black has 10. ...ed4 11.Nd4 Nc5 +a7a5 with good game.
I was surprised, when he played 10. ...cd5 - I expected c6c5 - and after 11.cd5 a6 we reach the position of the diagram above. I was very optimistic about my position, but after 12.Nd2 b5 13.b4 Qc7 14.Bb2 Nb6 15.a4 ba4 16.Na4 Bd7 17.Nxb6 Qxb6 18.Nc4 Qb8 19.Qb3 Bh6 I had nothing. From my point of view I played reasonable moves and rybka doesn´t help me either. Any ideas where I missed something, because 10. ...cd5 must be in favour for white?!
