Umm, it refers directly to Krasenkow's CBM 134 article.  And it provides a link to his article.

But ok, it's a different line altogether. Lips Sealed

It's the CBM 132 article.  Lips Sealed

Krasenkow covered it in 132, 133, and 134. The line this thread is about was covered in CBM 134.

Here's the previous reference to the Modern Benoni/KID and Krasenkow's article:

(I couldn't find it in any searches, but found a reference to it in an old PM.)

BP, we had a discussion about this in another thread.  Do you remembe which one it was?

This specific line wasn't discussed in another thread, because it came about only after CBM 134. I haven't discussed any specifics in the 6. h3 KID aside from that.

So based on your report, it appears that 10.h4 is indeed the move to beat.  Thanks for sharing that info; I'll see what I can figure out for myself.  What to play the King's Indian; whether to play the King's Indian; these are continual issues for me.

10. Rg1 Nc5 transposes to the Krasenkow line after 11. h4, so it doesn't have any independent significance to his recommendation.

10. Rg1 Kh8 followed by ...f5 is the problem, where the R actually finds itself misplaced by going there so early. It may not be readily apparent, but black gains an obnoxious Qh5 resource due to the absence of the Rh1.

10. Rg1 Na6 11. h4 transposes to a different line that's supposed to be good for white.

I've done more private analysis on Krasenkow's immediate h4, his idea is correct/more accurate, but white has to have the variation prepared well ahead of time and know the right ideas (key line white later plays Ng5 and sacrifices 2 pawns for a huge attack - not something players will jump into OTB without foreknowledge, at least I wouldn't because the power of white's attack isn't readily apparent at all).

It took me awhile to work it out, but his conclusion that white's attack is dangerous is correct.

1. Nf3 Nf6 2. c4 g6 3. Nc3 Bg7 4. e4 d6 5. d4 0-0 6. h3 e5 7. d5 a5 8. Bg5 Qe8 9. g4 Nfd7 10. h4 f5 11. gxf5 gxf5 12. h5 Nc5. Here Krasenkow opts for 13. h6 Bf6 14. Qe2 as his recommendation, but after 14...Kh8 white doesn't have anything from what I can tell, and he may even be close to being worse (white has no attack to speak of, and his piece coordination sucks).

13. Nd2 is another try for white, but 13...Nba6 equalizes (intending ...a4-a3/Nab4 in some order).

10. Rg1!? (my annotation) is my immediate thought, aiming for something like 10...Kh8 (to force through 11...f5, since 10...Nc5 transposes to a line better for white after 11. h4) 11. Qd2, discouraging ...f5, and making use of the fact that black's relesed pressure on the Pe4.

Maybe a white player will step up to the plate with something...

10.Rg1 is by far the preferred move in my data base; I have 13 games compared to 2 for 10.h4, White scoring a little over 60%.  However most of those wins come with 10...Nc5.  Black actually outscored White with 10...Na6 (4 games) and 10...Kh8 (2).  However I looked at it a little, and I think White has some chances to improve.  In any case 10.Rg1 seems to be the move to beat.

BPaulsen, is your citation of Krasenkow from CBM 134?

Yes, the first line I mentioned is Krasenkow's from CBM 134.

13. Nd2/10. Rg1 were unmentioned by him.
