The move order I'm talking about here is:

1. e4 c5 2. Nf3 d6 3. d4 cd4 4. Nxd4 Nf6 5. Nc3 a6 6. Bg5 e6 7. f4 Nc6.

I am struggling to find the way to prove an advantage against this line.  I know some recent games have gone into the hugely theoretical 8. e5 h6 9. Bh4 g5 10. fxg5 Nd5 11. Nxc6 bc6 12. Ne4 (This position can be reached in several different move orders).  And then 12...Qb6 13. Bd3 hg5 14. Bxg5 Qxb2 15. c4!?  However, the recent games in this line, especially Smeets-Dominguez seems to show that there is simply no advantage here for white and the best he can hope for is that black messes up the theory.

So where should white improve?
