Be assured Moskalenko affects your repertoire, no matter if you play the Winawer as White or as Black. If you want to know how: buy the books.

What i feel wrong is not question in your post...but because your post looks like a "please, give me a free copy of part of this book " ...do you understand ?

@Bibs: yes,...,I like the Santa Claus image of this forum  Smiley ..but I don't know how far is Anonymous  from posting "How to beat the French ?" or "Winning with the French, how to do ?" ... because he not resisted from posting some minutes ago:

"I am having trouble figuring out how to meet the Alekhine-Chatard Attack (1.e4 e6 2.d4 d5 3.Nc3 Nf6 4.Bg5 Be7 5. e5 Nfd7 6 h4!?) and equalize. Can someone point me in the right direction? "

I think I will go soon to Paris in Pere La Chaise cemetary and will do some magic on Alekhins's grave to question the champion and undig the answer.
Grin

I have unhindered  pleasure to help about French...but sometimes, an RTFM post is not far from the line I want to type...Before asking "the direction" I am not sure he did the work searching on Updates chesspub or forum (I quickly saw one thread about it)

Direction is : direction of nearest chess book shop or online chesspub subcription

The questions on the french and Pirc line affect my repertoire so I don't see anything wrong with asking those questions. Also, my question on the Pirc line was answered.

I don't see anything wrong with recommending Prie write a London System book.

I have Rizzitano's book and I don't see how his main recommendation in the London lose by force to a well-known trap so that's why I asked.

What does James Vigus recommend against 4 Bf4 (after 1 e4 d6 2 d4 Nf6 3 Nc3 g6) in his book "The Pirc in Black and White"?

How about a London System book by Prie?

Soooo many unanswered questions when it's so easy nowadays to buy books and to "give" here something in this forum (work, ideas, advices, comments about books you bought and read...) Cool

Which is why I react the way I do.

All of them. That means a) that no relevant line is missing and b) that I am not going to give you concrete moves.

What other 5th moves does Moskalenko cover besides 5.Qg4?

All of them.

What lines does he cover after 5.a3?

6...b6 and 6...c5.
The result is more than 200 pages of games and analysis.

In his chapter called 'Black Magic', Moskalenko provides analysis of 4.e5 Ne7.

On 5.Qg4 (page 52) he gives Nf5!? 6.Bd3 h5 7.Qf4 Qh4 8.Bxf5 Qxf4 9.Bxf4 Bxc3+ 10.bxc3 exf5 11.h4 Be6=

However, what if White simply plays 6.Bg5 which cuts out that equalising line? Has Black any cogent follow up? If not, then perhaps Black can't play 5...Nf5 at all and should transpose to 4.e5 c5 5.Qg4 Ne7 with 5...c5. Any ideas?

What other 5th moves does Moskalenko cover besides 5.Qg4? What lines does he cover after 5.a3?

Anybody knows where Moskalenko corrects his "Flexible French"?
