1) Anonymous 3.
2) Yes.

The book had the effect good books usually have: it made the stupids more stupid, the intelligent more intelligent and the other thousands of readers remained unchanged.

Obviously 5....dxc4 is the Botvinnik. Who cares about that minor slip? Kaufman concentrates on the Anti-Moscow in the complete chapter and spends one short and wrong sentence on the Botvinnik system.

Is there a competition going on for the the most useless thread?

You should read the book better. On page 427, he gives the moves 1 d4 d5 2 c4 e6 3 Nc3 c6 4 Nf3 Nf6 5 Bg5 and then says "This is the Botvinnik System".

you should read better that book, indeed the botvinnik system is when black answers with ..dxc4, but kaufman chose moscow and anti moscow lines against Bg5

After 1 d4 d5 2 c4 c6 3 Nf3 Nf6 4 Nc3 e6, Larry Kaufman in his book "The Chess Advantage in Black and White" calls 5 Bg5 the Botvinnik System but isn't it only the Botvinnik if Black plays 5...dxc4?
