And, of course, Mikhalevski's work on the Open on Chesspub is top notch stuff!

He is surely one of the World's top authorities on the Open Spanish and consistently plays it as Black. Smiley

If anyone is aware of Informant or yearbook articles that could assist someone in creating a repertoire in the open spanish it would be much appreciated.

Yearbook: http://www.newinchess.com/Archives/SurveysList.aspx?PageID=221&OpeningID=315

I  have the books from 77 ->  so if you want me to look into them to give a brief overview, let me know.

Gary Lane and Shaun Talbot's books both have a little on the Open.

Interestingly I was looking to start a complete bibliography of important resources on the Open Spanish

Flear, Krasenkow...

I saw Korchnoi wrote a book for ECO, not recent, but might be interesting... Possibly the anand e4 series if what it has is pertinent and not covered elsewhere.. Also I recall Kasparov's MGP on Karpov,Korchnoi had a few annotated games...Obviously chesspub.. If anyone is aware of Informant or yearbook articles that could assist someone in creating a repertoire in the open spanish it would be much appreciated.

There doesn't seem to be much of this lately. There was Flear's book in 2000 and I've heard about Krasenkow's book published mid '90s...but that's all. Anything more recent that I've missed?
