Why give up the bishop pair like that? You can achieve a superb London system with 5.Bf4!! when the fatal weakening of the g6-square with ...h6 leaves Black in dire straits.

1 d4 d5 2 Nc3 Nf6 3 Bg5 Nbd7 4 f3 h6 now when I was a subscriber, I believe I remember seeing that the e-book that covered the Veresov had 5 Bxf6 leading to an advantage for White, is this correct?
