There's still 10.Bd2 for White, or even 8.h3 Bf3 9.Bf3 dc4 10.Qe2.

In the recent game between Anand and Gashimov in Nanjing, Gashimov came up with
10.. Bc8! which looks like an important improvement.

Avrukh only gives 10...Bxf3 leading to usual white b-pair advantage.

A point with the move is that it saves a tempo on the normal ..b6 variation due to white playing h3.

Anand seemingly made the logical moves but still black had it quite easy. Is the line practically dead?
