I would have thought that 6...Qb6 has been considered best, and sufficient for equality/unclarity with best play, for decades now, notwithstanding some sharp stuff that has come up in the last couple of years.

In the position after 1.c4 c5 2.Nf3 Nf6 3.d4 cd4 4.Nd4 Nc6 5.Nc3 e6 6.g3, should Black play the fashionable 6...Qb6, or does he have an equivalent or superior move here, such as 6...Bc5 or 6...Be7? And is the 6...Qb6 variation sufficient for full equality?

Every resource I have thinks 6...Qb6 best. Against both 6...Bc5/6...Be7 white should be able to get a small pull

Khalifman thinks 6...Qb6 equalizes, Ftancik appears to as well with mentioning 7. Ndb5 Ne5 8. Bg2 a6 9. Na3 as white's best chance, but not reaching anything more than equality.
