If you go into 'My Profile' it should tell you exactly when your sub ends, but you should have received a reminder 7 days before the end and another email when it ended.

I don't see how the account's closure could be anything other than prompt, any thing else would be financially risky, to say the least.
Why don't you email support and ask for an extension?

I had that problem.
Also I must have used my second choice even further back before another break.

It usually comes up every time there's a delay... As I understand it, you get an extra month if you haven't gotten all the updates you subscribed for.

I just remembered to check when my subscription ends:

"Your subscription is due for renewal on 2011-01-06.
You are currently subscribed to      all sections"

And since some sections still say last update: "October" it's a fair bet that at least one section will be lagging behind at the end of New Year's Eve...

And since I might forget to remember to send Tony an email about it next year, it seemed a good idea to post it here. Any others here who also have their renewal date in January could follow suit, saving the need to remember to write later.

Actually, it sounds strange that the system remembers the date, and still you need to manually claim the free extension?!
