So, it seems that chesspublishing promotes microsoft's products!  Tongue

Not really, we didn't write the popup game code! Smiley
We would like everything on the site to be platform and browser independent, but it is not always easy.

Yes, I agree, no problem with your original explanation. I've just had a go with Chrome and the text doesn't seem to follow the moves there either. Roll Eyes

Ah dang it, my IE doesn't work!

I think your explanation was fine. It does seem to be a browser problem. For me, it works correctly with Internet Explorer (the move played is always at the top of the window) but not in Firefox.

When I look through the popup games the text is always in the right place! Which browser do you use?

Perhaps I didn't explain myself correctly. Go to a game in Richard's newest update, and simply hit the right arrow to scroll through the moves until your cursor is off the screen, let's say on move 15. Does it scroll down automatically to show you what move you're currently on automatically? This is what I'd like. If this happens to everyone but me already, I use the most recent version of Firefox.

Sorry for my earlier, unclear explanation. My bad!  Grin

Text scrolling...

Hi,

When I peruse the updates, I like to use the arrows key to advance the moves along while I stare at the moves. At the point when I look to the text for some explanation, it's normally out of view, at which point I need to scroll down or up. Not that that's a huge deal, but is there anyway to have the text window on the right move with the moves that the reader is on? Thanks!

-Tony
