I agree with you on Kasparov. I think Capablanca was from a by-gone time. Things are different now. Also, I notice in my own games, it comes down to either lack of understanding of the what to do or what plan to have in the Middlegame, or missing something in my "calculations." My technique is decent for the players I'm likely to encounter.

Its really for me about speed and accuracy of visualization.
