You can follow theoretical recommendations, but if you're at a level where you see Colle/London/Bf4&Nc3 a lot, you probably don't need to.  White is giving you a free hand to set up your position, so there are lots of lines that should lead to equality or inclarity, as you choose.

The main line given in Dembo's "Fighting the Anti-King's Indians" more than anything else made me give up the Barry Attack. Black has no problems and it may even be slightly easier to improve his position than White's.

Can you give the line please?

And how to play if white chooses a Colle set up? Play for ...c5? ...e5?

Honestly, if you don't have the book, you should try to find out yourself. Check e.g. Mark Hebden's games to see what White wants to play and what is probably the best line for Black as well, since he has played both sides. Maybe some game by Dembo herself recently, perhaps?

But in general, I usually try to play for both pawn breaks in positions like the Barry Attack and the Colle. It also depends on what White allows.

Hello everyone!

I like playing the Kings Indian with black, but it seems a lot of white players play sidelines. Especially the Barry Attack (setup with d4 Nf3 Bf4 Nc3 e3 etc). What is the best way for black against this variation? Are there any sharp lines?
Thank you very much!

Eric Prié's analysis is good and I think that it is what Dembo has used to a large extent.
