Can anybody recommend a book which will take me through the typical plans and ideas in this structure.  I already have the Dynamic English but would like to broaden my understanding.

Palliser's book, what's it called, Beating Unusual Openings?  Anyway it's a repertoire book for Black, but it does explain some of the ideas fairly well.

No mention of Kosten's Dynamic English!? Geez!

I thought the treatment of the Botvinnik there was quite good for building understanding.

OP already has the book  Wink

Don't be, I guess you are busy with your book project! (At least I am really eager to see the result).

Hi.

For reading parts of volume 1 (black plays e5) and 2 (anti Kings Indian) in the Marin English-triologi is a good bet.

For viewing there is a ChessBase volume in the "60 minutes" series called "The Botvinnik system in the English Opening".   I have not seen it myself.

Cheers / Anders
