Agree - it is a great concept but they should have asked a better player to write it. I would live with the long sentences if I get some meaninful insights from a strong player.

Yes, that is exactly what I meant in the first blog when I have opened the thread. I am not a native English speacker but normally I rarely need a dictoniary when I read chess books written in English.
The main problem I have is that the title of the chapters doesn´t fit to the explainations that the author gives later ("wait and see").
Nevertheless the topic "pawn structures in the King´s Indian" would be worthy to be written about.

Wow, I strongly disliked the excerpt.  Difficult to read, awkward phrases...

However, two quick questions come up:
1. Will it be available in English and when and through which publishing house
2. The author doesn't seem "that strong" considering others who wrote recently on this topic. I would like to see the book first before deciding on buying.

I have no info about the book, but my guess would be that the "wait and see approach" applies to Boleslavsky Wall positions and the like (see Pawn Power in Chess).

I´ve noticed that a new book is coming out about pawn structures in the Indian Defenses (mainly King´s Indian):

In general I think it is good that there is a book about this issue, because I consider my pet opening KI not as a tactical opening but also (perhaps more?!) as a positional opening. There is a lot of positional concepts like weak squares, blockade elements,… in it.
What makes me concern a little bit is the title of the different chapters like “wait and see approach” which confused me because in a pawn storm race of White and Black I wouldn´t “wait” and “see” if I would play White or Black. The explanation is better and relativises my last concern.
Any opinions, remarks,… about the book?
