There are still plenty of new members, registration is not closed, but only open to paid-up subscribers at the moment.

Yes, possible. I sent Tony an email and didn't hear back from him.

I was stuck at Orly airport during the French air traffic controllers strike!

We've already had a similar discussion a little while ago, but there's no facility in the Forum software for asking a question and seeing if we get the right answer. Sending an email to support seems to cut out all robots and most trolls too! Wink

What do people mean when they say "Chess is the pawn of the soul"?

If that is main issue, just introduce an "I am human" part in the registration. If you want to avoid some script with identifying a picture or similar, just use a chess-related question, that a human knows or easily can look up on wikipedia for instance. When I was admin years ago for a board that killed off all robot registrations.

It's not closed as such, I just got tired of deleting all the robots who kept trying to register and so now only Admin can add a new member.
