I got the 1 hour vid by Kritz on the a6 slav. More or less useless. Not much information. Was also totally annoyed by him calling the opening slave instead of slav.

I realise that this has very little to do with 2...e5, but I had to say something about Kritz and one hour vids.

Don't check me with no lightweight stuff.

Kritz' variations seem convincing, though I fear black has a hard time against 5.Nbd2 Qe7 6.g3! (not mentioned) and continues with the standard plan of quick kingside castling and an attack on the black king. This was seen in Sakaev(2607)-Nabaty(2526),2010.

In my opinion 5.Nbd2 Bg4! offers black better chances.

I have watched it once. I have always thought that Kritz is one of the better presenters and he often covers a surprising amount of material in a short time in his lectures. He focuses almost exclusively on presenting a number of interesting ideas in the Albin such as 5. Nbd2 Qe7 and I think he succeeds here- although whether these ideas survive more detailed scrutiny is another matter. For those looking for ideas in the Albin- this is not a bad watch. I hope we see more presentations like this.
