This is some theory i found in the book QGA starting out by everyman chess. Looks like the 4.Nf3 is even advantageous for white.  Im not sure if the mainline I gave was very playable for black. The line does have the advantage of being rather offbeat, so it is probably unlikely that anyone other than maybe a GM or IM would be able to find some of these moves over the board.

I seem to recall that line (with 5...b5) springing up around that time, though as a "book line" it is considerably older.  I notice that NCO had it as +=, ECO had = or with compensation, and Sakaev/Semkov in their second edition thought 3...c5 was dubious.

Has anyone studied this or seen analysis by GMs on this position. It must highly theoretical, I'm just curious on the current state of theory here. Is black okay?
