I was just working through the chapter R+4 vs R+3 on the same side in the Polgar book and came across this game. Polgar ends with 27.Kf5+- and the rest of the analysis is given by Karpov in Informator (rook endings) - very instructive...

Also if Poghosyan or Micawber could instruct me as to how they get such lovely text versions of their work into this forum, I'd be glad to put my summary of Gligoric-Euwe that way too!

Recently I received a copy of the new translation of Najdorf's book on Zurich 1953, and I became interested in the rook ending that arose in the 22nd round game between Gligoric and Euwe.  I went through my library and gathered all the sources I could find, and the following is the result.  There are no theoretical advances in the file - I am not Micawber or Poghosyan, sadly!  Still, given Poghosyan's recent contributions, I thought others might find this interesting.

The pgn file seems too complex for the flash chessboard, so a download will have to do.  My apologies.
