4.Ng5 d5 5.exd5 Na5 6.Bb5ch c6 7.dxc6 bxc6 8.Qf3 h6. This is the only variation where Ba4 can be played successfully.

8.Qf3 h6 9.Ne4 Nd5 10.Ba4! Be7 (Rb8 12.Nbc3 +-) 11.O-O O-O 12.Nec3 Be6 13.d3 f5 14.Re1 Bf6 15.Bb3 Re8 16.Bd2 Nxb3 17.axb3 Nb4 18.Qd1 +/-

Once White can play Bb3, Rb8 loses its punch, but where does the Queen Rook go? White has secured his Queenside pawn majority and is simply better. There doesn't appear to be any way to punish 10.Ba4

If 10...Rb8 11.Nbc3 is +/-
