And how are you going to defend the b7-pawn?

Doesn't it make more sense to play ...Qc8 (or Qe8); Rd8; Rd7; Qe8 (or Qc8) and Rad8 (or Rfd8) ?

The book had the effect good books usually have: it made the stupids more stupid, the intelligent more intelligent and the other thousands of readers remained unchanged.

How far do you want to go to double your rooks, is my instinctive reaction?

Interesting idea, but i think that better is 15.Qe2 with the idea Nc4 and then White seems somewhat better. The same Qe2 variation can be played against the main line with ...Qc8 also, but in that case it is probably not as strong.

Reversed Dragon 13...Qb8!?

I'm still using my outdated Rybka 3. It came up with an interesting regrouping in this standard Reversed Dragon line:

A cute way of doubling up rooks, don't you agree? Sometimes the a8-rook never gets in the game after the more standard 13...Qc8 move. Meanwhile, the queen isn't totally out of play on a7. For example, it's not so easy for White to switch to a plan involving f2-f4 with a black queen lurking along the g1-a7 diagonal.

I thought this cute regrouping was worth a mention.
