Good point, Michael! I liked the ChessPub logo. Now it seems the only visible logo is YABB's.

What happened to the ChessPub foaming tankard top right? I see just 'YaBB 2.6' -- is it just me?

I got in my browser, the "columns" and "lines" not aligned...because the board is an image and the 8,7,6..a,b,...h are text in HTML-CSS

Looks better in the "Print" result : board as a single image ..but..no 8,7,6...a,b..h around board. Images can be hidden by clcking the up-right corner button.

I need an explanation for this thread page too : I cannot see the "Print Post" button, I can see this button in more recent threads

Slight bug - when I hover over the big chat bubble to the left of all of the forums, about half of them tool-tip "1.d4 d5" instead of their real title.

Wow!

This is going to take some getting used to, but it does look great! What does the "No parse" button do?

(testing...)

I like the new look. Modern but quite clean and easy to read.

As you can see, the Forum has changed! Smiley
There are still a few things that need to be adjusted, and there will be some problems (not too many I hope!)
Please post here if you encounter anything odd! Sad

A new version of the Forum software (2.6) is slated for release over the next few days, and I intend to update the software here ASAP.

OK, it's finally been released ... only a few months later! Getting the new software working is going to take me a while as we have so many modifications (to get PGN games, boards, etc.) that need adding to the new code.
I'm afraid there will be a period of 'Maintenance Mode' where you can look at posts, but not write anything, so please bear with me. Undecided

It's definitely possible, I noticed something like this on another thread, too.

Any similarities between those two threads?

I tried posting after removing the dot, but it didn't help - so either it's something else or one might need to correct the thread name dot inside the system.

Yes, I noticed that too. I wondered if I'd done something wrong, or if my post was being withheld for moderation, but maybe it was/is a bug of some sort...?

Lately, there may be a bug with the Lalic 2014 thread. I can see on the start page that a new post has been made but when I open the thread the latest one isn't showing.

For example, I could see that nestor had posted but his post didn't become visible until Bragesjö posted and Bragesjö's post didn't appear until ArKeiN posted and so forth.

Anyone else noticing this? The other sections seems to work for me, so it's peculiar that it seems to be only that one...

edit: could it be the "." in the title that affects the showing somehow? Other topics don't have a single full stop, though some have "..." and still work  Undecided

...would the new release be public next friday

That seems unlikely now, the update was promised at the beginning of April, but nothing has appeared yet - I assumed they meant April 2014!

What tools for cut/copy ? (French forum is huge)

I will just go through the pages and move any threads that seem relevant to the new sub boards (when they actually arrive) by clicking on the Admin boxes to the right and then using the 'move to' box below.
