I see that 8...d6 has been thought to be adequate (e.g. citing Beliavsky).

Ivanchuk's 9 Bxc5 dxc5 10 c3 scores very highly for White.

I see that one Archangel book cited a game Romanishin-Godena which led to a quick draw after 9...Bxe3; I wonder what White has in mind against 9...0-0.

Archangel Question

I recently have been playing the Archangel (1.e4 e5 2.Nf3 Nc6 3.Bb5 a6 Ba4 Nf6 5.0-0 b5 6.Bb3 Bb7) as Black. I recently lost a game that continued 7.d3 Bc5 8.Be3 and I don't see how Black can equalize here. Thought?
