On my blog you can also find some other ideas in the sideslines.
I don't know who your opponents usual are but i know in the region where I live, my blog is followed.

1. d4 f5 2. e4 fxe4 3. Nc3 Nf6 4. Bg5 Nc6 5. Nh3 d5  6. Bxf6 Bxh3! 7. Qh5+ g6 8. Qxh3! exf6 9. Qe6+ Ne7!!??!  ( A very rare move, almost inhuman!) 10. f3 exf3 11. Bb5+!!??!!  (fascinating!) c6 12. O-O!!?!? (I put all those rare signs to indicate that these moves do not think you can think of an opponent in a game alive)

12... Qd7!
  (12...cxb5? 13. Qxf6 Rg8 14. Rxf3 with attack)

13. Qxf6 O-O-O!!

(13...Rg8 14.Rxf3 and: 14...cxb5? or 14...0-0-0! traspose)

14. Rxf3! Ng8!!??!! (This just makes Houdini program, but objectively is the best; 14... Rg8 {Is the human move} 15. Bd3 with
equal game but complex)

15. Qxf8! Rxf8 16. Rxf8+ Kc7 17. Raf1 {The problem
is to get the black Knight and the Rook of the eighth row and only achieved
with checks Queen that protect the Rook "h8"}

Qg4! 18.R8f7+ Kd6

(18...Kb6 19.R1f4 =)

19. R1f4 Qe6 20. Bd3

No comments   Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy

Amazing line, no?    Smiley Shocked

5.Nh3!?  : My summary would be that you can play by both sides, but especially the black must know it well.

Schwarz (1964) gives 5.Nge2 d5 6.Bxf6 exf6 7.Nf4 Bf5 8.Nfxd5 Bd6 as equal.

9.h4!? (whit idea Ce3 and h5 winning the black king pawn) h5! (Stopping the threat radically) 10.Bb5
(attempting discourage black 0-0-0) Bg6 (protecting the pawn "h" with idea 0-0) 11.Qe2 0-0 12.0-0-0

and the game is exciting and full of life on both sides (+0.12 Houdini)

5...d5 (the latter the more normal, but against this movement is specially designed 5.Ch3!?  xCf4 xd5)

where i discussed this sideline.

Thanks for starting the link, Very interesting games (and analysis)
I think there is an improvement on move 8.

I share my analysis:

"STAUNTON VAR. KOUATLY"

1. d4 f5 2. e4 fxe4 3. Nc3 Nf6 4. Bg5 Nc6 5. Nh3  d5

(5... e5 6. d5 +/=)

(5... e6 6. Nxe4 Be7 7. Nxf6+!!N {Houdini} (7. Bxf6 ?! Bxf6 8. c3 O-O 9. f4  Kouatly,B (2473)-Froeyman,H (2308)/Clichy FRA 2004/The Week in Chess)
7... Bxf6 8. Qh5+ g6 9. Qh6)

(5... d6 6. Nf4( with idea 7.Axf6 y 8.Dh5+ taking the position of Knight in -f4)} Bf5 7. Bxf6 exf6 8. Bb5 +/=)

6. Bxf6  Bxh3! Fantastic move, but it is still a concession to the imminent Nf4. (6... exf6 7. Nf4! g6 8. Nfxd5 Bg7 9. Nb5 O-O 10. Ndxc7 Rb8 11. h4 a6 12. Bc4+ Kh8  13. h5 and I like the white)

7.Qh5+ g6 8. Qxh3! (not 8.Qxd5?!)} exf6 9. Qe6+ Be7 10. Bb5 Qd6 11. Qxd6 Bxd6
12. Nxd5 Kf7 13. Bxc6 bxc6 14. Ne3 f5
(14... Rab8 15. Nc4)

15. Ke2 Rhe8 16. Nc4
{+ 0.12} Houdini

Summary: It is true that the position is equal (almost), but the black has had to overcome many obstacles to get here.

Are they as prepared our adversaries?

About the game:
1. d4 f5 2. e4 fxe4 3. Nc3 Nf6 4. Bg5 Nc6 5. Nh3 g6 6. Bc4?!

Anything wrong with 5...d5?

5...e6;
5...d6;
5...d5 (the latter the more normal, but against this movement is specially designed 5.Ch3!?  xCf4 xd5)

The black pawn "d5" can become a target after 6.Cf4

Now I'm at home, when I will come and discuss variants, but in any case seems a very interesting line

Thx

Taimanov (1980) gives 7...Na5 and 7...d5 8.Bxf6 edf6 9.Bxd5 Bxh3 10.gxh3 f5 as improvements - according to him Black is better.

6.d5! Ne5 7.d6!!?? (Houdini)  and the pawn seems more than compensated. So I think the variant 5...g6 not critical.

5...e6; 5...d6; 5...d5 (the latter the more normal, but against this movement is specially designed 5.Ch3!?  xCf4 xd5)

First of all sorry for my english, I write from Spain

With the help of the program I discovered this movement Houdini:

1. d4 f5 2. e4 fxe4 3. Nc3 Nf6 4. Bg5 Nc6! (other plays seem much weaker) 5. Nh3!

ADVANTAGES:
1- passes "the word" to black, now must define its plan
2- Supports the-g5-bishop, important in some lines
3- The Knight goes to where controlled-f4 d5.

He has played very little but of course not new

example:

Shtyrov, A. vs. Cheremisin, Felix (Moscow 1965)

1. d4 f5 2. e4 fxe4 3. Nc3 Nf6 4. Bg5 Nc6 5. Nh3 g6 6. Bc4  (6.d5 made in Houdini and follow 7.d6!!?? + Houdini) Bg7 7. O-O e6 8. d5 Ne5 9. Bb3 exd5 10. Bxf6 Bxf6 11. Qxd5 c6 12. Qd6 Nf7 13. Bxf7+ Kxf7 14. Nxe4 Qe7 15. Rfe1 Kg7 16. Re3 Re8 17. Nxf6 1-0

(5...d5; 5...d6; 5...e6  we discuss in the thread)
