Apparently there's a volume 2, covering everything but the Benko. I actually kind of like this idea - one of the biggest annoyances in picking up the Benko Gambit for me is that it's just not as easy to weave a complete repertoire around it - everything but exactly 1.d4, 2.c4, and 3.d5 requires extra work and investigation.

The Double-Fianchetto Hedgehog is an interesting choice too.

There are two things you dont get from this dvd:

1.c4 with 2.g3 to follow ( à la Kosten) He mentions it, but says it outside the scope of the dvd.

And I didnt find that the calm Retì was covered; the double fianchetto with the pawn back on d2, and Nc3, e3 and Qe2 and so on from white.

Overall I think its a nice dvd though, with active suggestions for black.

I think that It's good DVD but with some missing variation (maybe this is regular because It's a DVD and not a book...).
Against the Trompowsky (very good coverge!!): he recommends Ne4 with d5&c5
Veresov: c6 Lines
d4 Nf6 Nf3 c5 d5 b5
d4 Nf6 c4 c5 Nf3 cxd4 Nxd4 e5 (or b6)
and against 1.Nf3 he reccomends the double fianchetto system.

They should have included a video about 12 a4 which is missed in the first DVD. But apparently that´s not the case. The title is a bit misleading even if the "spirit" of the Benko influenced the choice of lines.

But the DVD is certainly interesting for someone trying to build a repertoire solely around the Benko.

I` ve got it for some time. But didnt have the time to watch it all. But from what I`ve seen it seems  pretty good. So if you not got it already I can get back to you more spesific on the suggested repertoarie.

Ben

Anybody has got it? Comments? Is it a repertoire? Possible to have an idea of the suggested lines?
