Hmm. Maybe you should ask Karsten Müller on this Smiley

No, seriously. Krogius was Spasskys coach for some years, and he also was like top 20 GM in his time ( around 1970). So its hard to believe that the book contains many "stupid mistakes" as Jacob Aagaard claims. I would think that Alburt hand-picked Krogius to this book as a safety-net... But I dont know. The book has gotten greats reviews though, so untill Aagaard explains to us whats wrong with it I dont know what to believe

I've been going thru Lev Alburt's endgame book "Just the Facts" and have found the material excellent and easy to digest (Jacob Aagaard's comment that the book has too many stupid mistakes is ridiculous: http://www.chesspub.com/cgi-bin/yabb2/YaBB.pl?num=1325540674) ;

I was wondering, besides the basic endgame material covered in a previous book in Alburt's series, are there any important fundamental endgame topics the book doesn't cover?
