Hi!

I looked at those treads but could not find anything on 6. N1c3 a6 7. Na3 b5 8. Nd5 Nf6 9.c4 (9.-Nxd5 of course transposes here to 8.-Nge7 Kalashnikov)

I'm considering to start playing Kalashnikov/Sveshnikov hybrid:

1. e4 c5 2. Nf3 Nc6 3. d4 cxd4 4. Nxd4 e5 5. Nb5 d6

a) 6.c4 Be7

b) 6. N1c3 a6 7. Na3 b5 8. Nd5 Nf6

Is b) good enough, or is 9. c4 there too dangerous? If not, I find this good combo indeed.
