The coverage in the updates which deal with the Nakamura line are indeed very good.

I highly recommend anyone who is not a subscriber and who is a French player, to do so.  The material is more than worth it.  I have been a happy subscriber for a very long time, and I just want to share the news.  Smiley  Cheesy

The Nakamura line, which is from the Steneitz, and it is marked by ...Qb6 leads to an equal game but it is a dead draw.  There is nothing for anyone here unless, of course, mistakes are done by either player.  The forced lines are really not that hard to memorize and neither is the end game position(s) hard to study.

For Black it is safe.   I recommend you go over the analysis IM Watson does in an eXCELLENT manner/quality.

I played a tournament game this weekend in which the above line occurred, and I mixed up my preparation and played 8 Qd2?? Qxb2 9 Rb1 Qa3 10 Rb3(?) Qa5 11 Bb5 c4 12 Rb1 Bb4 13 Rxb4 Qxb4 -/+.  That I then proceeded to draw the game (somehow) is no consolation.  But I can't find the stupid line where Qb6 IS answered by Qd2, and I know there is one, because I was channelling -something -.  Can anyone help?

I'm aware that the move was 8 Na4.
