Ok, well hardly a convincing poll, not too much interest, which suggests that most subscribers don't really care one way or another.
I think I will go back to US Letter size as there are so few wanting a change.

I have always appreciated the playable ebooks. A combination of Playable and at certain occasions PDF is optimal for me. Cannot understand the complaint about the format since there isn't any other way to produce them (I believe, but have no knowledge though).

Perhaps Forward Chess could support it??? or a similar ChessPub app.

Anyhow ChessBase version is more optimal for me since it is easy to integrate it with my Repertoire Bases in ChessBase.

As much as I like Forward Chess and Chess Studio there is some "cut and paste" and writing to do to get it into my Repertoire DBs.

What kind of proof is that?

I can't believe you get that many complaints at all Tongue

I like the playable e-books because I have a limited amount of physical space at home for chess. Therefore, I don't use the pdf-files much, more than to check them on my phone once in a while.

Could it be because everyone has converted to playable e-books? Wink

That's very unlikely, as firstly, there are still over twice as many downloads for the PDF files, and secondly, only Windows users with ChessBase can use the CBV eBooks.
Actually, strange as it may seem, complaints about the format of the ChessBase eBooks outnumber emails of praise by about 10 to 1! Sad

OK, I'm going to close this poll in a couple of days. I have to say the general lack of interest is quite surprising! Roll Eyes

I don't think it is any problem since technology will take care of it anyhow.

True, it doesn't really make much difference when you print them, but you can fit more on A4 size pages so the books are a little shorter.

There's only 2 votes for A4 so far, which is surprising, but if this stays the same we will return to US Letter size.

Considerering the sizes of the sections the indentation is sufficient and very readable, at least to me.  Too much indentation on many levels may not always improve.

Incidentally, for those who have 'Letter' size paper, to print the A4 eBooks please try the 'Fit' option rather than 'Actual Size' in your PDF program and it should look fine.

I do think it is a nice improvement.
Thank you.

I'm glad you like it! Smiley
I can increase the indents for the sub and sub sub variations if there is any demand?

Incidentally, I've also changed the formatting for the individual chapters, you can see this on ones from the last few days - is it better or worse?
