At onlinechesslessons.net. I think that the offer expired yesterday but maybe you can still get the discount for the series  Smiley

Hi Paul,
I have bought the dvd and will post a fuller opinion when I've gone through it. Where did you see a 50% discount ?

Sorry, I don't have this DVD. Noticed that you can get it with a 50% discount, so the price will be very low. I have his video on the Queen's gambit with an emphasis on the Cambridge Springs variation. It is excellent but I haven't seen his other videos.

However, I'm almost sure that black cannot get close to equal play if white plays the plan you mention. The variation used to be very popular in Denmark when GM Bent Larsen wrote a book on solid openings years ago but after the fianchetto variation was introduced, it more or less disappeared from top level. In Negi's first volume on 1. e4, he also shows another way white can get a nice advantage. Of course you can try and use it as a surprise weapon but I'm almost certain that well-prepared white players will get an advantage against the gf6 variation. If you buy the video, then please let me know if his recommendation is Dd5  Smiley

Apologies if I've missed this elsewhere but has anyone seen this DVD by Andrew Martin ? I'm interested in the Larsen-Bronstein ...gf variation and wanted to know if he comes up with a credible anser to 6.c3 and the kingside fianchetto.
