I'm talking about a situation in which the ostensible best-play lines of Nc3 + d3 would be given as leading to += in something like an ECO table.  Then it wouldn't be at all the case that "it's not a critical line."  (Add standard caveats about such categories being imperfect, etc.)

One thing is, I've never seen a claim of a forcible edge for White against the classical main move 5...d6.  Of course if White could prove += with that Nc3 + d3 stuff it would be a big theoretical deal.

I think 14Qf3 was slightly better instead of trading of queen..
