There is great coverage here of such line. 
Just a really, really good book. 
Pity this guy has not written more.
Includes discussion of  the early ...b6.

I cant think of too many opportunities in the Dragon to double fianchetto, nor in the Pirc. Therefore i'm not sure i would think this set up reliable enough to use regularly or against aggressive players.

But e4 won't be hanging after Nc3 and if necessary, f3. White will play Be3, f3, 0-0-0 and Black is slower with the counterplay than in the proper Dragon because of the wasted time on ...b6 instead of ...b5 directly. White's plan is pretty straight-forward I guess.

I tried it in a handful of games a few years ago. The problem I found was the weakness of the pawn on e6 when White played a rapid f4-f5xe6. Whilst usually it's possible to play Nd7(c6)-e5 and defend e6 from c8, that isn't possible when the Bishop is already on b7.

Yes the g6 set up risks to be a bit slow because black has "wasted" time on b6 and Bb7 but black is attacking e4 at the same time which white cant ignore if he/she doesnt want to play in gambit style.

But a direct mate attack can only be possible if the white plays the queen to f3 after Bc4 but black then just plays Nf6. White cant play e5 threatening the knight because then the queen on f3 is hanging.

But sure white can build up the attack in rauzer style and attack like in the dragon or english attack. But black is also allowed to make moves. The g6 setup is not the only one. Black could also go for siciclian hedgehog set ups. So its arather  flexible way to play as it seems.

I would love to see a player like Nakamura play this in a rapid game for example (or why not in slow chess?). I am sure he would inject interesting ideas in it.

3. d4 cd 4. Nxd4 Bb7 5. Nc3 is book stuff, but offhand I would think that 5...g6 with the idea of ...Bg7, ...Nf6 and ...0-0 could encounter various kinds of trouble -- for example, doesn't it rather look like a recipe for getting mated if White plays à la the Yugoslav?

This is not so new, I know GM Bauer played this a bit and could be named Bauer Sicilian maybe.

Hello all!

Maybe a new sicilian. I was thinking about that the sicilian is a very deeply studied chess opening with tons of books and theory. And is it possible to come up with a "new" opening in the Sicilian (!) of all openings  in the year of 2015 ?

It goes like this

1.e4 c5 2. Nf3 b6!?
Here white can play in several ways...but lets assume white doesnt know what to do so he/she continues with :

3.d4 cxd4 4. Nxd4 Bb7 (attacking e4)

Here  I play a setup with g6-Bg7 ,Nf6 and castles . Not moving the d7 pawn before castling kingside because then white can play Bb5+ .

After castling my pawns on e7 and d7 will be waiting to see what white does and react accordingly. This variation can transpose to some sidelines of the Accelerated dragon but should also lead to lines wich are unique.

Sound and playable...thats the question.
